What's in the mock test
Mock Test 2 reproduces the structure and timing of the real exam so there are no surprises on the day. Every section is included and scored.
- Lesen (Reading): Leseverstehen (reading three texts) plus Sprachbausteine (grammar and vocabulary gap-fills).
- Hören (Listening): Hörverstehen in three parts: everyday announcements, a radio-style conversation, and short statements, played as audio.
- Schreiben (Writing): one letter or email — you choose one of two everyday topics and write a clear, structured reply of around 80–150 words.
- Sprechen (Speaking): three parts — Kontaktaufnahme (getting to know your partner), Gespräch über ein Thema (discussing a topic), and Gemeinsam etwas planen (planning something together).
Take it under exam conditions
A mock test only measures your readiness if you treat it like the real thing: one sitting, a timer running, no dictionary, no pausing. The discomfort is the point — it builds the stamina and pacing the exam demands.
How scoring works
Reading and listening are auto-scored the moment you finish. Your writing and speaking are evaluated by AI against the B1 criteria, so you get a band plus specific feedback — not just a number. Together these produce a realistic readiness score.
How to review your result
Your score matters less than your mistakes. Go through every wrong answer and ask why: vocabulary, grammar, technique, or time? Patterns in your errors tell you exactly what to study next.
- Note which question types you missed.
- Re-read the writing feedback and rewrite weak sentences.
- Re-record any speaking task that scored low.

TELC readiness check
Before you book your telc Deutsch B1 exam, find out whether you are actually ready. A readiness check is simply a full, timed mock test that produces a single score across reading, listening, writing and speaking — the same four skills the real exam measures. If your readiness score is comfortably above the pass mark on two separate tests, you are ready to book with confidence.
Sprichst turns each mock attempt into a readiness score and breaks it down by section, so you can see at a glance whether your mock tests work is paying off or whether another skill is holding you back. Re-check every couple of weeks to track your progress toward 60% overall (roughly 180 of 300 points) and you must pass the written and oral parts together.
