This Privacy Policy explains how Sprichst ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use sprichst.com and related services.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, and password hash when you create an account.
- Learning data: lesson progress, XP, streaks, vocabulary cards, and AI chat history you generate while using the app.
- Payment data: we use Razorpay as our payment processor. We store the order ID, payment ID, amount, currency, and status — but never your card or bank details, which are handled by Razorpay directly.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device, and country (derived from IP for currency display).
2. How we use your data
- To provide the learning experience (track progress, generate AI responses, sync vocabulary).
- To process payments and grant Pro access.
- To send transactional emails (password reset, payment receipts, account notifications).
- To debug issues and improve product quality.
3. Third-party processors
- Razorpay — payment processing
- Supabase — database, authentication, file storage
- Google AI / OpenAI — AI tutor responses (prompts are sent without your account email)
- Google OAuth — optional sign-in
4. Data retention
We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account exists. Payment records are kept for at least 7 years to comply with tax law. You can request account deletion at any time by emailing ai.business.support.team@gmail.com.
5. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Email ai.business.support.team@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
6. Security
We use TLS encryption in transit, row-level security on our database, and store passwords as salted hashes. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password.
7. Children
Sprichst is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
